The Rockcastle Shotgun Championship is a 2-day shotgun competition held at Rockcastle Shooting Center in Park City, Kentucky.

The match will consist of 18 fun and challenging stages.

* All times are Central Standard Time
* Sunday will be used to make up for any inclement weather during the match. If Sunday is needed, the awards ceremony will be at 1:00 PM Sunday. NOTE: It will take very serious weather (lightning, heavy winds) for Sunday shooting to be necessary.

Divisions

Competitors will be able to shoot in one of three divisions:

Open Division
Standard Division
Standard Manual Division

Details

The match will consist of 4 short stages (8-10 rounds), 8 medium stages (15-20 rounds) and 6 long stages (24-32 rounds). The round count for the match, by stage, is as follows:

Stage 1: 9 birdshot- 3 slugs
Stage 2: 15 bird + spinner
Stage 3: 9 birdshot
Stage 4: 15 birdshot- 3 buckshot
Stage 5: 16 birdshot
Stage 6: 12 birdshot
Stage 7: 24 birdshot
Stage 8: 16 birdshot + spinner
Stage 9: 20 birdshot- 3 slugs
Stage 10: 29 birdshot
Stage 11: 26 birdshot
Stage 12: 12 birdshot - 3 buckshot - 3 slugs
Stage 13: 18 birdshot
Stage 14: 24 birdshot
Stage 15: 15 birdshot
Stage 16: 10 birdshot
Stage 17: 15 birdshot
Stage 18: 19 birdshot - 2 buckshot - 3 slugs

* All slugs are steel from 25-70 yards
* All buckshot is IPSC targets and they are between 10-25 yards
